Grand Park Hotel Rovinj has found itself in esteemed company – it has been featured in The Leading Hotels of the World monograph dedicated to hotel design, published in collaboration with the renowned publishing house Phaidon. The book celebrates legendary hospitality and extraordinary design, presenting a carefully curated selection of over 70 hotels from the LHW network.
Grand Park Hotel Rovinj serves as a platform for the most beautiful stage on the Adriatic. Wherever they are in the hotel, guests feel as though they are in a park with views of Rovinj, St. Euphemia, the island of St. Katarina, and the most stunning sunsets over the sea. The hotel’s interior design was entrusted to the studio of celebrated Italian architect and designer Piero Lissoni. Inspired by the Rovinj coastline and its islets, the design prominently features a palette dominated by indigo blue, white, warm earthy tones, and carefully chosen materials.
The Leading Hotels of the World is an organization representing over 400 luxury hotels in more than 80 countries. The beautifully produced Phaidon monograph also includes interviews with individuals currently shaping discussions on the future of hospitality and the hotel industry.
The book is edited and produced by Spencer Bailey and the New York-based editorial studio The Slowdown. It features a foreword by Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic Paul Goldberger, as well as contributions from leading design and travel writers such as Maria Cristina Didero, Mark Ellwood, Christina Ohly Evans, Cynthia Rosenfeld, Warren Singh Bartlett, and Janelle Zara. The book also includes two in-depth interviews – one between Eleven Madison Park chef Daniel Humm and fashion designer Gabriela Hearst in New York City, and another featuring architect Michael Rojkind and fashion designer Carla Fernández in Mexico City. Additionally, it offers expert travel tips from notable figures including André Fu, Stephanie Goto, Samuel Ross, and Kulapat Yantrasast.
