Our colleagues Marko Dabrović and Uršula Juvan had the opportunity to participate as speakers at the first Omni Talent Salon, organized by PWMN Croatia under the sponsorship of the European Commission and the European Parliament.
The Omni Talent Salon is a new platform that brings together topics of equality, diversity, inclusion, and excellence. Each program is structured along the timeline of past – present – future, highlighting historical pioneers of equality, expert dialogues (in female–male pairs), and the contributions of young professionals and students.
In a fireside chat, Marko and Uršula shared their professional stories and the experiences that shaped their work. They reflected on the role of women in the history of architecture and opened a discussion on the future of the profession in the context of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. Part of the conversation was also dedicated to the question – how will today’s architecture be remembered in the year 2100?
At the opening ceremony, participants were welcomed by Her Excellency Wendy Dorman-Smith, Ambassador of Ireland to Croatia.
This event marked the beginning of a series of gatherings promoting the values of unity and solidarity within the European Union under the motto #BetterTogether.
