Our colleagues Marko Dabrović and Uršula Juvan will take part as speakers at the first Omni Talent Salon, a new event series organized by PWMN Croatia under the auspices of the European Commission and the European Parliament. The Salon will take place on 25 September at 6:00 PM at the Experience Europe Center, Tome Bakača 3, Zagreb.
The Omni Talent Salon is envisioned as a platform that brings together topics of gender equality, inclusiveness, excellence, and diversity. Each edition is based on the concept of past – present – future, through the presentation of historical pioneers of equality, a dialogue with industry experts (always paired female and male), and the participation of students and young professionals.
In their fireside chat, Marko and Uršula will talk about their professional careers and key experiences that shaped their development, reflect on the role of women in the history of architecture, and address questions about the future of the profession in the era of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. The audience will also have the opportunity to hear their thoughts on how the architecture of today will be remembered in the year 2100.
At the official opening, H.E. Ms. Wendy Dorman-Smith, Ambassador of Ireland to Croatia, will address the participants, while Marko and Uršula will contribute to an inspiring dialogue on the role of architecture in social, technological, and ecological transformations.
This event marks the beginning of a new series of gatherings promoting the values of unity and togetherness of the European Union under the slogan #BetterTogether.
