One of Dubrovnik's most recognizable hotels, Villa Argentina, has reopened its doors after a multi-year reconstruction and interior design project carried out for Adriatic Luxury Hotels by Studio 3LHD.
Located on Ploče, overlooking Dubrovnik's historic core and the island of Lokrum, Villa Argentina now functions as a cohesive complex of historic villas, contemporary hotel facilities and Mediterranean gardens. The project connects the historic villas, the main building and the outdoor spaces into a functional whole that respects the original character of the site.
The interior design is based on the coexistence of historic and new spaces, using materials and details that reinterpret Dubrovnik's tradition. As part of the reconstruction, the large mosaic "Dubrovačke varijacije" by Ivo Dulčić was restored and integrated into the new wellness area and indoor pool.
The final result is a hotel experience in which architecture, interiors, gardens, and artistic heritage together connect the history of the place with its present-day life.
